Checked the mail when I got up and there was my package from Stev-o.
Look at the lovely original clutch lever. So thrilled I just can't thank Stev-o enough.
So this is the new knock off...
and this is one on top of the other
and this is my "new" original one from Stev-o
I wasn't sure if there was an actual difference or not so we tried to bend the knock off and broke it. LOL So we put the good one on and adjusted it and it's f'ing beautiful. Drove all night long and only a wee bit sore. Huge difference and it's enabled me to ride like I love to.
Have a list of things to check, spark plugs, valve adjustment (again,) chain, possibly carbs.... My one cylinder on the far right doesn't seem as hot as the others. So gonna check my plugs but think it's sticking slightly in the carbs. Also need to dial in the carbs for the pods. Neutral is an awful little beast to find when parking and I've slipped into neutral by accident when slowing down for turning... Not sure if it's just me or the bike...
Also kicked her over a few times today. This is really my first bike that I've been capable of kicking (too light for Harleys.) So.. is there a happy trick to it? Pull in the clutch? Pumping it? I find that about halfway down I almost get stuck and have a hell of a time getting past that point. Once I am I can kick her first try.
So excited. I just freaking love this bike.
