Why do you need to roll one if he has pipes?

We borrowed some of these rollers to move stuff around, they worked great. The brother with a business credit  card ended up buying a set that was slightly better.

That must have been quite a job getting it down there.  What will be the first project made on it?

the biggest thing to screw me up and hold me back was doing all the research and reading about how hard it was taking everything apart......but when it actually came down to it he's machines are amazing simple but very heavy. I was able to take everything apart and put back together by using the bed well the knee.

Not amazing at all. I am a terribly average guy that just had too much pride to call for help and it was so rewarding to get it done. I frigging googled and you tubed for a month watching how others did it...just to prove to myself that it can physically be done without a truck, crane or 5 guys. Patience and 16oz Budweiser can get anything done.

YouTube "Stonehenge re single white guy" or something like that. Dude moves 18k lbs by himself.

I am so frigging buzzing right now steve o. How does that saying go? Whiskey to beer never what?

I had to make myself throw up last night just to sleep.
Tonight I am in the doghouse.

All hooked up and running smooth. I got pretty tanked last night and talked to it. It had nothing to add to the conversation. I milled some 6061 aluminum with a 1/2" four flute and all was right with the world.....last night.

Well boys, my mill is all set up and doing great. I am not used to the old style lead screw but. OK. So yeasturday at work a scrap guy showed up to do some old machine removal from a shop next door. Long story short I was told to check out what was being removed and....there was an junk surface grinder/ mill....with a Futaba 3 axis DRO computer and linear readout scales! I ran and got my tools and started pulling off wat I wanted as the scrap guy was cutting wires and positioning the flatbed. My bald head was out sweating soaking in the sun and I got the complete system out in 25 mins. 10 mins later it was all off to the scrapyard. A frigging $1000 dro setup for freeeeee. Scales are a bit short for the Bridgeport but. Hey now.

So everything is nice nice for the cellar dweller. The free dro is working great. The first pic shows the 18" X axis scale. I fixed the scale to the bed but milled a used for the reader. The sled holds the reader in place but is held in place with magnets. No crash. Reader just sliides( stops reading of course) done. I frigging love it.
