cognito moto sold me a set of the new fox podium R shocks..  will probably powdercoat the spings gloss black but other than that they look really great and were easy to fit. Had to adjust the lengt of the bushing that goes in the top, so it matched the width of the stock bolt on the cb550 frame..  also got a lot of other bits and pieces today and will carry on building as soon as possible,

rear wheel arrived today. got the tire mounted as fast as possible and mounted the wheel on the bike to see how the general look of the bike would be.
I think i am happy with the "look" of things.   Just have to finish everything else now asap :D

A long overdue update on this project!

finished the undertray for the seat, got new rear shocks installed.


things got a little out of hand, and new plans were made for the engine.. 592cc, camshaft, etc(the stage 2 dynoman kit).
It is also getting a electronic fuel injection system! as far as i have seen it will be one of very few EFI converted cb550's.




Fuel tank modified to hold a zx14r returnless fuel system.


Picture of the bike outdoors.. after this i decided the engine was too dark, so i also polished all the covers.
