Offset clevis shocks...
« on: March 26, 2013, 11:12:00 pm »
I really need a set of shocks with the offset clevis mount for my 750A. Does anybody know where I can get a set new or working used?

Thanks

I guess I'll have to try that. I was afraid welding would cause the shock to explode or at least ruin the seals.

If they are just filled with oil,i don't see why it would not work.

I bought the cyclex shocks.  The clevis is too wide for the swingarm mount - so I have a washer (a little thicker than 1/16" thick - but not quite 1/8") inside the clevis.  It is not quite the exact same offset - but it is very close.  Works for me.

Bikes I want: CX650ED, a mid-sized japanese V-twin with ABS.
