Basket Case XS650
« on: March 30, 2013, 05:18:25 AM »
I scored a basket case XS650 yesterday for $200.00.  The guy had it for 4 years and all he managed to do was tear it apart and weld on a hard tail frame.  The hardtail is from TC Brothers, the guy claims he paid $500.00 for just the hardtail, I haven't checked our the prices yet so I have no idea.
The deal came with the frame an engine that turns over, front and rear wheels that are broken down, new spokes, and a collection of rusty and dirty bits that are thrown into some boxes.  There's no title so I'm not sure yet if I'm going to keep it and store it awhile or part it out.  For now I'm definitely keeping the frame, motor, and wheels.
If anyone wants any little bits feel free to ask, I'll sell them cheap or give them away.
