Anyone ever try auto zones duplicator already mixed quart paint@ $25 a quart it's a deal,but is it any good,,have to paint tank and 2fenders

I recently used the primer but not the paint ! I use auto paint from an auto body supply and things are not getting any cheaper. $ 89 for a quart of clear.it is worth a shot. See if it pre thinned for spraying. The primer was so it doesn't go as far. A quart of unthinned would cover twice as much but then you need to buy thinner. I do anyway to clean the gun

The duplicolor paint doesn't cover to well. Thinning it makes it worse. Your best bet is to try your local paint station. The guy we get our paint from is pretty cheap. Try to see if they have a cheaper paint matrix is pretty good and cheaper my candy colors where 26.00 a pint a lot cheaper than house of color. Single stage is another cheaper way to paint. I just think you might be disappointed in the duplicolor. But that is my experience with it.

You dont add thinner to the duplicolor system,its pre-thinned and ready to shoot out of the can

frig it ,i'll just go the regular way,and buy the paint and clear,reducer,120 bucks,and do it the way i planned,i was just curious

painting tomorrow,everything is prepped,just haven't descided on a color,rigged up a plastic enclosure in my garage,hope it goes without a hitch using a new gun and haven't painted in about 10 years,i'll post a pic or 2 when done

You could use Rustoleum and 2K gas proof clear coat.

painted today,picked blue,4 coats base,4 coats clear,came out nice will post pics when bike is together
