2x cb750f2's in Ireland
« on: April 08, 2013, 08:02:56 AM »
Hi All,

I've been browsing through and thought I should say hello.

I recently was looking for a bike to do the Wrenchmonkees/Deus type of thing with for a change. I have been a serial restorer for the last few years and wanted a change. I found an advert for a rubbish old CB and when I went to see it, it wasn't starting and was in awful condition. I thought it would be perfect to do what I wanted -  no guilt chopping up a good bike either!!

Anyway, I noticed another CB750 in this guys garage, in worse condition, and walked away with both bikes. Now I might do my thing on one and restore the other, if I get enough decent parts from both to make it worth it.

I have one stripped and have the engine torn apart and yep.....rubbish!! Needs to be bored .5 over, new valves and guides etc. A good start.........

So the saga begins. I have a few questions regarding dating that I will post elsewhere. One is an F but not sure which, the other is the black engined F2 model.

Ciao for now
