Agreed....or white - would run with the tank white...

Yeah red, with a bit of white outline and a blue pinstripe separating the two. Or something with the three colors combined, echoing the tail section in some way.

That paint scheme brings me to a new place spiritually. Did you have it painted? Did you spray it yourself? and could you talk about the process you used?

I've got a 1998 VFR I've redone in red, but am thinking about going to the 2007 anniversary paint job.

Well.. You are in good hands paint wise..

Do you have a spare sprocket?, sometimes you can file or grind em out a few degrees, they locate on the centre shoulder, I am thinking.... or if they are the same, I have a few 750 ones..

A little bit on the painter..

back in the 80,s Michael Jackson, sent a car up to him to paint
(does not mean he would paint for him today

)..

There was a Chevelle he painted. in the 80,s, with absolutely killer paint, that scored quite well in the ISCA show circuit standings..

so I would imagine his painting is even better now..

Jimmy is in good hands..

I never met the painter by one of my best buds knows him from the body shop trade..

and we used to..err.. spend a lot of time in his uncles Hotel..
and I worked a bit with a buddy of his named Smith.

Jimmy, tell him you ran into one of the "Yukon Jack Swilling Dou".. heh..heh...

my buddy Frank re-informed me that Michael is a rep for a company that is into waterborne paints, BigTime..

I think that will be huge in the coming years..
Have you seen any custom bike work done by him in waterborne?

There is a ignition relay diagram in the FAQ section. Here is another from wiredgeorge for a Kawasaki. Remember the Y/R wire will be B/W in Honda.

There can be a significant drop in voltage in the path between battery and coil through resistance in wires, connections and switches. the idea is to provide the coils with as close to full battery voltage as is possible.
