front brake piston

hello everyone-anybody have a source for a front brake piston for a 71 cb750 ? part has been discontinued
I see david silver has them but I'm in usa I thought there was someone that had phenolic ones but can't find them  thanks

David Silver has a US distributor.


I hate to do it, but the Google custom search works very well.  Just search for phenolic and I am sure you will be able to find the source for those.

How bad is the old one,maybe in a pinch you could fill and smooth the bad spots with some JB. New is always better though.

Godfrey's Garage carries the phenolic pistons, look in Good Seller area for link to their site.
They also offer thinned and drilled front rotors if you wish to go that route.  Scottly also does rotor drilling and  is trustworthy and quick for less money.

Don't forget a new seal with a new piston, you only got one neck to break!!
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!
