I shot that video at Rockingham Dragway. Bill Benton is driving it, not Sam. Boo Brown thought he had found an easy first round opponent, seeking out the slow bike in the staging lanes. Bill had the better reaction and ran closer to his dial-in than his opponent. The announcer gave Boo a lot of crap over that loss.
That was the first time out for Samauto. You can see the powerband for the -75 cam on that run. The cam had been advanced to try to pull down the powerband. We went to the 295 cam to get a stronger bottom end. The bike has gone from 836 cc to 915 cc along with the cam swap. It now runs about a second quicker than shown in the video.
