CB750 to CB650 exhaust.
« on: April 25, 2013, 05:09:03 PM »
Just wondering if anybody knows if the exhaust from a 81 cb750 would bolt up to my 80 cb650? Right now I have the custom 4-4 exhaust but I see a sweet deal on the 750 4-2 set. Thanks in advance for any info.  -Jay

I can tell you from first hand experience that 750DOHC exhaust has same port spacing as 750SOHC. Now the port spacing lining up for a 750 I rly can't be certain. I would guess and say no given it is a "smaller" engine. I use quotes because the architecture can be similar in that port spacing would be similar

You will probably have interference issues at the bottom of the frame downtubes, along/near the clutch area on right and at the footpeg area on right and left. Left side would have interference issues with the kickstand

Those are interference issues between the two 750 frames but I can imagine that interference would be similar
