Well, I figured I would start my project thread today. I'm looking at some small projects and repairs today and this weekend.
To recap, I bought a 78 CB750 Super Sport last Saturday. I got it from a guy at work for 500$. Well with a little drive way wrenching, we took the seemingly bad Dyna S ignition off and put on the old points plate. Lo and behold, she started right up!
From what I can gather it's running lean... I'm basing this off a rough to non-existent idle without the choke, and the backfiring when decelerating. I am thinking of trying to adjust the mix screws (correct term?) on the carbs, and adjusting the throttle set as well. The bike is running pods with a 4 into 1 exhaust with no baffle, I know this changes the mix I need.
Does this sound like a good place to start?
Also, can someone explain the best way to post pictures from a Galaxy S 3? I'm doing all my posting from my phone, I don't have the internet. Thanks!!
