At least your insurance is a better deal; i have only the bare minimum for insurance and i pay $270/yr.

The insurance trueblue is talking about isn't comprehensive, its compulsory third party and is all part of the registration fee... If you want to insure the bike for accident or theft thats another cost altogether

Mine is just enough to legally let me drive it; doesn't do squat for me or the bike really; if anything happens(wipe out, fall over etc.) i am the repair shop haha. Some insurance companies up here don't even list my machine; claim its too old....but for more money they would find a way to insure it; always bout the cash.
