i want a dnepr..or a ural..or name it...the sidecar koste more then the dobbel ....that this mashines.. in denmark..so bay a ural and cut the sidecar ,,and build it on my 550..and save 5000 danisk kroner...a ural kosts 5000 for a non runner..and up to 30,000 for a restureed fine one

Friend of mine had one in Prague and I spent many hours helping him to make it run reliably. 

Sovetskaja technika - bolsoj molotok dolzon  - it is a poor excuse of an engineering; it looks cool, but it sure makes your life adventurous.

think the germen bmw..and zundapp..vas from 1935..or so..so the russian have many years to make it to a poor bike...if you put bosch elektric parts on..i think they vill run as fine at possibel..byt russian tolerencer in engine can not be done mutch to improve..

Some things from a roadtest of the time:-

Illumination---Two geriatric gloworms attempting to copulate

Stopping distance from 30mph---The Horizon

Stopping distance from 60mph(if you ever get it to go that fast) 14 miles past the horizon.

8 pints of oil and if it gets down to 7 one side siezes as the oil pump does not feed that side.

Cheapest petrol available is too rich for the engine
