Where do I find trim for diy cafe seat?
« on: May 10, 2013, 06:24:45 pm »
Made my own fiberglass cafe seat for my cb550, I followed video instructions from dime city cycles. The rough edges at the bottom of the seat need some type of trim to cover and give it a finished look. Where can I get such trim?

You can use door edge trim from any auto parts store or from e-bay , comes in colors .
Found this bike in completely stock condition in Feb. 08. Paid over twice what my new one cost 30 years ago. Am trying to re-create the look of the late 70's Drag Bike styling.More later. 4-2-10 It ain't stock any more and I have no idea what I am trying to create !

Anybody got a pic of this on a finished seat? The edge is what I'm having the hardest trouble getting clean.
