No new updates with the CB this time, as i have hardly done anything to it this summer.
I have received new carbs and boots from my American connection.
I did get a few small side project this summer. A 1965 Vespa 50S and trying to learn how to do metal shaping.
Me and my dad are almost finished with the left fender of the 1931 pontiac seen in the two first piuctures. My dad does the welding , and i grind the welds and hammer the fender back in to shape.
This is the state of the "bike" when i bought it.
The moped had been off the road since the early 70's, and had hardly any rust.
the previous owner dismantled it to try to restore it but lost his confidence.
3 weeks later it looks like this:
A few days later i rolled on the aluminium legshield beading. luckily i bought 2 beadings, as i destroyed the first one.
Today i put on the runningboard protectors and the vespa badge.
Of the 8 old rivet holes, only 2 fit the new badge: Italian "craftmansship".
