I think the guy's name is Danny Kelsey. He made it around the track in 1:14.
My friend said that it was a good day to see a lap record, as it was warm, but not hot enough to turn the tires to goo. Sure enough, new lap record at Hallet.
I guess that the CMRA will only do one race at Hallet each year. I guess they are replacing the clockwise race at Hallet with a race in New Orleans.
