Just for the brake line he should be put out of business as that is a dangerous and stupid repair that should NEVEWR have been done

RR, I'm sorry to say that IS the way it  is in the USA now.   It is SO bad that the Attorney on his side would make you PROVE he's an AHOLE, which you can't , because an AHOLE is a body part from which you defecate.  All legal mumbo jumbo.

It is SO bad ,that if someone takes you to court and while filing papers they mis-spelled your name it can be thrown out of court because it's NOT you the papers were filed against.  Minor technicality but a LEGAL loophole!!

You are absolutely right, I can win the case which proves he;s an A-hole then get sued for publicizing what is public record

He is not running a shop any longer, it all cought up to him

One of these days he'll run into somebody who won't waste time in court

glad you won.  when you sue him for payment/garnishement, make sure to also add on your court costs along with billing him for the time that you spent dealing with all this.  you can typically sue someone for an extra $500 just for all the #$%* you had to go through to sue them.  Suing him for payment will probably be another hearing, in which case the judge will decide if it's a valid addition to your claim and decide the final amount.
