Why are they so damn expensive? My left side cover is missing from my 78 750k. my right side is missing too but the oil tank is not as ugly as the wiring uncovered on the left side. is there maybe an aftermarket company that make a reasonably priced cover. 100.00 for less than a square foot of fiberglass/plastic is outrageous. oh what to do....

Sometimes you can score one cheap on ebay but you have to invest sometime to get them.

FYI, I bought some covers from FrankenFrankenStuff and they are very good quality and the price was reasonable for the set (a little cheaper than the Z1Enterprises set).

I have bought a few sets from fb and they are the best don't want to buy from anyone else.  Highest quality at a reasonable price.

Bought a set from Frankenbike on his first run of 78K sidecovers. They are perfect fit and look with new tech materials.
