Does anyone know if its at all possible to buy cb500k0 fork tube nuts? I bought cb450 fork nuts after reading a few things on the internet as they are the same thread size but failed to see that they operate without a damper rod and in the cb500 the damper rod is screwed into the bottom of the fork tube nut. There is a space to where the damper rod could fit in regards to the 450 nut but it would mean the damper rod isnt fully secured.
My 500 fork nuts are in pretty rough shape and I was wondering if there are any options out there that I am unaware of in regards to new nuts or some sort of cover.
