I need to ship off my CB450 Tachometer and Speedometer.

The Tachometer and Speedometer both worked fine, but I thought they could undergo a nice cleaning (maybe internally too?) along with painting the housing with nice professional paint that would last. The only major thing is the Speedometer needs a new face plate.

This would be for a '72 CB450.

This is usually something I would "attempt" to do if I had more time, but the CB450 restoration (and house work) has been pretty demanding lately (along with work). This is one thing I'd like some help on.

If You can't fix it with a hammer, You've got an electrical problem.

Looks like highly excellent work.

Yea, a bit on the high side. He basically replaces every major component, which I'm not that sure is necessary for my gauges. I'm fine with getting things at the 95% level, but I do admire the 100% of his work. He basically sends you back brand new gauges. Shipping there and back is going to be costly and a big tacked on cost.

Speedo:

Needs an exterior repaint and a new faceplate. Everything else works great.

Tach:

Needs an exterior repaint. There is some faint discoloration on the faceplate, so I guess it could be replaced.

The needles and e everything works great. But a lube probably isn't a bad idea?

I'm restoring this bike from the ground up. It does deserve some nice looking gauges.
