I'd restore it Mark, "Fads" like the Cafe craze will come and go, but a clean original(ish) Black Bomber will always be a good investment. Cheers, Terry.

Ha, Kind of what I have. but it is a tough choice.

Like Terry I hate to lose an original, but 25+ years under a shed roof in Goshen NY is tough to overcome. all the aluminum is so pitted it takes hours on every part to sand the complete surface smooth enough to polish.

I had thought that sandblasting would remove the chrome off the fenders.

I was wrong. Hopefully finding a chrome place take the chrome off won't be too expensive....

Got almost all of the parts sandblasted.

I like that 450 of Larry's because it looks a bit like a CB750. If you could just pull that rattly boat anchor of an engine out and install an SOHC4 in there, it'd be a truly impressive bike!
