OK, I'll try to start it off.
Bought a pair of rear view mirrors for my RVF 400 on flea bay from seller in Hong Kong. The articles themselves were fine but they arrived in a carton with F all packing so they were vulnerable to damage, they literally rattled in the box. I posted a "neutral" feedback , said how I felt about the packaging and risk to the contents, in reply the vendor went mental "Too much to ask" was his headline statement if I recall well. Customer is King was not in his business plan.
Never bought from him again.

Ahh, but with age I must be getting grumpy ! Ha

Years ago my oldest son had a 71 cb350 twin that he had to lay down when a car pulled in front of him. The rear brake lever/pedal was bent up so I picked another one up from ebay, problem was it I should've looked closer at the ad because when I got it in the mail it was just as bent up as the one I was taking off.  :o

Then my youngest son had a 1st generation VF500 interceptor that was damn near impossible to find parts for and he needed brake rotors. He spotted a seller on ebay from Hong Kong that was selling "brand new" rotors for his bike. They may have been new but they were already at the absolute minimum allowable thickness.

At the moment Ebay is full of aftermarket bling-bling shyte that says Fits: CB HONDA right now. It makes it hard to search real parts. When I search CB550 or CB550F in the motorcycle parts usually 5000 or so hits comes up but this week its closer to 8-9000 and mostly crap that probably won't fit our bikes.

Three throttle cables, three alternator covers, three rear brake pedals, three pair of grips, mufflers shipped back and forth once, exhaust pipes that don't fit, side cover knobs with bad threads, handle bars for a CA95 not a CA77, rear footpeg rubber to small, wrong battery, rectifier sticks out to much...

And I could go on! One build.

Bought an NOS clutch cable for the Z1 on eBay.  Pulled the sprocket cover off (yes, clutch cable feeds on left) and wrong cable. Damn seller didn't know what he had. Dumb buyer!

Yep I know what you mean you have to type in -fits, then that way you don't get 9,000 items that say its for a cb550.
