Actually I think I bled them like that. The bubbles go up the line, and I probably , loosened the line above the caliper, if I had trouble with air in there. A big help, if you are having bleeding trouble.. Tap your line with a small wrench, like 8 or 10 mm. Start low down, tap repeatedly every inch or less , work your way up.. Repeat if necessary, dont bleed, just pump mc once in awhile to let the air escape out the top.
Those brakes were very hard in feel, usually, two finger braking.. With Stock bore mc..and yes I had that front tire squealling and hopping..in a panic stop.. The hopping was probably an out of balance wire wheel I ran before the mag.
