Ode to number 2 Carb (PD's)
« on: July 04, 2013, 04:42:52 AM »
There you sit, freshly rebuilt
almost three hours cleaning out the silt
now it's time to adjust your mix
but just getting your boot seated taught me new tricks
I can adjust the mixture on 1, 3 and 4
but your screw is hampered by the starter door
I burn my hands because they don't fit
after 30 minutes I scratch my head as I sit
I try again as the motor goes thump
while you sit there smug with your accelerator pump
I hate you number 2, I don't care if you tune
hang on a second, I may have spoken too soon
yes, yes-I think I have you just right
the idle I hear says it was worth the fight
as I ice my burned hand, I'm surprisingly glad
ok number 2, you're not really so bad
If anyone asks, I'll say "it's a snap!"
only a SOHC owner will know I'm full of crap !
