CB750 front brake wiring with 3 way switch
« on: July 09, 2013, 02:27:10 PM »
Finishing up the cafe I've been working on and I'm trying to figure out where to run the wires on the front brake light "switch".

I'm doing bare bones wiring using a 3-way switch.

My question is...

In the picture, which side runs to the brake light and which goes to the 3 way switch (I'm assuming that's how it works?)

I've searched and couldn't find any help with wiring the way I am.

Thanks

I believe that PRESSURE switch is either OPEN or CLOSED.. When pressure is applied, it closes the switch and allows current through. I don't think it would make a difference..
You could test with a battery charger, hook a wire to one side going to the brake wire and touch + to the other post then pull the brake lever then just reverse the wires and do the same !!

A multimeter ohm scale!  Continuity when pressure applied. Open (infinity) at rest.
