Bill Warner died from injuries sustained after losing control of his Busa during a 300mph attempt in Loring, Mass. yesterday.

Thoughts and prayers to the Warner family.

So Sad :'(...............and my friend and bike builder/tuner just measured the rebound on my shocks and told me to get new units for my land-speed bike.....and I don't get to 100 mph

I may be wrong......but I think pavement speed is soooooooooo much more dangerous than the salt flats.

I know a couple of ladies that have hit the track at close to 200mph and survived, 300mph on the other hand is a whole different ball game, thought and prayers for his family and friends, he was a very respected person in the land of LSR.

That's Loring, Maine. He was trying to do 300 mph in one mile. He had gone 311 in a 1.5 mile run in a previous year.

Yes, it is a very sad day for all of the motorcycle world.  :'(   It is always hard to bring news of a cycle brother's passing.   :-\
