I am trying to talk him into flattening the frame a bit. We cut a lot of the flange off, about 1/8 clearance...carb/manifold, has to be slid in sideways, then bolted up.

Are the manifold screws in a square pattern? If so you could turn the manifold by 90° hand have the carb angled either to the left or to the right.

It works and should run without aircleaner
Undo the 4 bolts and slide it in or out sideways.. We probably took up to 11mm off the bellmouth in some places..

He took it to the track, but it was not completely assembed so he roadraced his RS 125, i think it might be.. Not sure.. Worked on some bits for a bunch of track bikes.
