Cb750 K3 carb question
«
on:

G'day all, as I was cleaning my carbs the other night I noticed 2 inlet/outlet pipes between the 2nd and third carb, nothing was attached to these so I'm curious to what they are for and if I need to do something with them?!
Thanks,
Pat

I believe those are blind.
Probably technological shortcut, like making one casting form and using it for left side/right side caburetors with different plugs for each side.

They are a type of vent and yes there is a rubber hose around a foot long or so that should be attached to those.

Yep. They are the bowl vents. Not having a line on it probably won't really hurt it. I believe the purpose of the line is just to run the vent to a place a bit more protected from the weather (directly under the thank/seat).

I have been running to vent lines on it for over a year, all good. Lots of people don't bother. It is a personal preference thing, nothing comes of not using them in all types of weather

Excellent, thanks fellas! I don't think I will bother with attaching any hoses as it hasn't affected the running if it!
