Time Is Winding Down
« on: July 31, 2013, 03:26:07 PM »

Yep, the time IS winding down And THEN, We Move! Yeah! Georgia is just fine, But I sure will be glad to get located back in Arkansas. Been here in Georgia since a year ago May and just didn't really feel complete, with most of my things still in Arkansas. I know it will take some time still, to get anywhere settled, when we get there, but at least I will be in the same state with most of my things being about 2hrs away. Lot better than 800 miles, eh?   ::)

Already working on getting things lined up, for when we get there.  Got all of my things out of the house in Greenwood (Ark), finally and would not have been possible without tons of help from some VERY good friends. Looking forward to getting there, getting everyone settled in and start getting to where we can have some recreational activities!  ;)

Good on you Bill, and I apologise for not keeping up with your news, how's your Dad? Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hey Terry, good to hear from you. Dad is doing okay. Although, I feel that he is going into Alzheimer's though. According to the S & S Team, he was doing this, back in 2007 or 2008. IF he would have been that bad then, I DO believe he would have been in REALLY bad shape by now.  ::) Other than that and the fact that he isn't eating properly and taking his meds regularly, he isn't doing too bad. Especially since he just turned 88 on the 16th of July. Yep, 88! Thing is, I am 22yrs behind him.  :o

Thank you, Bobby. Sure appreciate that. Nice to hear from you too. I suppose you are doing okay, yourself? Hope so. Yeah, I am trying to get this done, in an orderly manner and not have too much left, by the time we actually move. It REALLY didn't seem as though Michelle could move and so, that's why I began my move to Georgia. I was beginning to wonder how I was going to move MY things all to Georgia and suddenly, the situation changed and Michelle was saying that we really needed to go to Arkansas and get my Dad back home. So anyway, we are moving. She doesn't have alot, that will have to go and that will help.

Ha ha, well done Bill, glad that you're going home to look after your Dad, mine is 86 and has Parkinsons, but he's great to argue with, and I enjoy having a drink with him too.

I go see my Dad and Mom once a week (they live a couple of hundred miles away) and when I went this week and I was fixing one car's radiator, charging the battery on the other car, changing light bulbs and cutting wood, but I enjoyed all of it, even though I haven't done that much work in years, ha ha! ;D

Thanks Terry, I try harder.  ;)  That's great that you look after your parents like that. I can appreciate the work you do and know they do too. Thing is, that work gives YOU satisfaction as well. Great Efforts there Mate.  8)

'Put on your red ruby slippers, and repeat that "there's no place like home". We're from the Buffalo area and had to live in Philadephia for 5 years. Hated it , because it wasn't home.
Good Luck  on your move.

Thanks for your input. 5 yrs?  Whoa!  That's a bunch. So you finally made it back?  Georgia isn't that bad,  it's just that  I am here and the majority of my things ( motorcycles, tools,  projects, etc ) are in Arkansas and I have nowhere to put them here, except in storage.
But anyway, thankfully, we are headed there and anxious to get settled and start functioning again. Hope all is sell for You all now.  ;)
