T-Shirt Poll

Considering a T-Shirt Run.

To give Glenn some info to go on, choose two, one for size and one for color.

That is something of an issue. I've had large fit, but sometimes need an X-large depending on who makes them. Perhaps when Glenn finds a maker he can inquire as to how theirs run size-wise and adjust accordingly.

The last run of SOHC4 shirts were good - mine got too greasy, so I'm voting black this time around ;)  What you can't see can't hurt you, no matter how bad it smells  ;D

In the last run, the large fit me well - I'm 5.8 and 185 pounds.  The screening seemed to weather quite a few washings as well.

I note no option for grey - the heather grey t-shirt material is often quite good.  Definitely 100% cotton and a quality shirt is a must, even if it makes it a little pricey.

Sweet!  Changed my vote from black to grey, cause I look better in grey.  It also doesn't fade like black does.

So do these shirts offer more or less protection than a Corona tank top?  ;D

Gray is better than black I think. AS others have said, it does not fade. It also does not seem to show up with stains as easy. A dark blue would be nice also. I prefer XL but a L works too, just gets a bit tight.

As for protection, I think it depends if you spill beer on yourself or not!

2X will work but I'd be willing to pay a little more for a 3X. I like my shirts a little loose and, yes, I'm fat. I'm 300 lbs and can run very fast with full protective gear... for about 20 yards.  ;D

What about red? I seem to remember there was a manufacturer of really cool bikes that preferred the red color.

considerably less. Although if ridding with a backwards facing cap and white sneakers, you're protection surpasses most leather racing setups.
p.s. you might try cutting the sleeves off, and growing a mullet.

Added red.

Yellow and orange look pretty lonely, nobody planning on trick-or-treating in the SOHC4 "T"? :D

I went with Yellow in L or XL depending on the size of it.

Black is good for a work shirt because it doesn't show up grease and grime, but I like Yellow because it is such a loud, obnoxious color.  It REALLY lets people know you've arrived.  ;D
