IW
love the hay ground silo shot

Me too. I had to ride into a farmer's field to get it which I'm not too sure he would appreciate but it was only like 100ft off the road. lol

Trespassing shmespassing

It is all good until you have to pull the shotgun shot out of your backside...

Some of the police around here would ticket you for crop  destruction if they saw you in a farmer's field----$500 fine plus costs and 6 month loss of license....Larry
Jeez. Though you meet the nicest people on a Honda. Guess strike Johnny Law and farmers from the list.

HotCarl...great pics of the K3...you can never go wrong with that sunflake in the sun. Very nice bike!Is that original paint? She looks really good....

Thanks Johnie! The paint is not original, the PO had it painted. I also have a '74 in the same color that I'm working on. The original paint on that one looks pretty close to the repaint.

Yesterday I took the bike out for my traditional Honda-and-mine birthday ride. Hope you like the pictures

First one is taken in Galve de Sorbe (Guadalajara-Spain), with a view of the 15th century castle and the graveyard at the right.

Second one under the porch of the decaying village school at Valvieja (Segovia-Spain)

That Second Picture is a definite win in my book. If only the lighting was a bit better.

UPDATE: The 2014 Calendar deadline has been moved to mid-December.

I realized I will not be in the country on the 30 Nov (something about motorcycling around Laos ;)) so have moved the deadline to when I get back. This means a vote on the photos will not happen till after 10th. I will try and get the Calendar ready for Christmas but no guarantees.

This year it will be better than ever so get your photos in and get ready to vote. It will be worth waiting for!

cheers

Photo quality
You can send whatever photos you want taken with whatever you like. When the photo gets increased in size to the fit the calendar space quality may suffer is its a low res image. In which case it might get dropped if its too low res.

Scenic backdrops
Thousandson and others - no point submitting a photo of your bike in this thread if its in the driveway or in your back yard no matter how nice your bike is. This thread is all about SOHCs against scenic backdrops that you or someone else want to stare at for a month ;). Thousandson you are in Waltham which at the moment is surrounded by beautiful Fall trees, scenic locations (plenty around Greater Boston) etc so no excuse!

Thanks for the all the scenic submissions so far.

cheers
Andy

Thanks Bender. Those are the first clear pictures I've ever seen of my bike in it's original form. That's beautiful.
Could you PM me a picture of the clock area please?

No offence but I prefer the Uk spec indicators and tail light arrangement. But I'm biased.  ;D
