Checked my Clymer and shop manual and couldn't get a clear picture. If anyone can post a pic that would be great.

Instead of the fender bracket touching the fork leg the caliper should be in that position, then the fender goes on top.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

From the inside out, is it: bolt > split washer > fender mount > caliper arm > fork?
Mine is currently: bolt > split washer > caliper arm > fender mount > fork.

Thanks for all of the replies and assistance. Front brake is back and in good working order. I think most all of my rebuild issues were from the improper mounting of the fender bracket and I never would've have known/realized it without your help. As soon as I fit that in the correct spot, clearance and adjustment were easy. Plus, it was the cause of my original pads wearing at an angle and now that is resolved. I ordered some EBC FA13 pads from Slingshot and they went on fine. I did have to sand the paint off the edges for smooth caliper fit, but that only took a few minutes with some 150 grit sandpaper. So thanks again for all the tips, tricks and fixes!
