Headlight ear swap question
« on: August 13, 2013, 05:42:09 PM »

Hey guys. I was thinking of switching out my 1978 headlight ears to earlier ones so that i could mount different turn signals to them. The 78 has the long stems on the bottom of the ears whereas the older ones have mounting holes on the tab that hold the headlight itself. Question of the day is: are the two ear plug and play? Or will I have to do some modification?

Does your 78 use fork gatiors or wipers, early 750 has a flange for the top of the gatiors.length and diameter is likely the same because of neck/spindle length.
