Year or two ago a guy on a cruiser hit a grizzly near Banff on the hiway. Killed the bear, lucky guy walked away from it.

Crazy huh..they gave the rider a ticket for speeding..

Well they had proof, the riders own video.

Canadian officials were trying to find and prosecute the nut doing 180 on his sport bike lane splitting and the like in Ontario last year. Apparently the nut posted his evidence and they were trying to get motorist sand others to come forward to find him.

In 76 one race weekend at Westwood (Port Coquitlam, BC) Rocky Phoenix from Seattle clipped a bear crossing the track. It was like the new wilderness there then, cougars, bears, deer sightings commonplace. The track is gone now & it's grown into residential. There are still wildlife though, several reports of bear & cougar attacks with all the walking paths.

They were here first.  ;)
