WIRING A LED SPEEDOMETER

DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING SPECIAL TO WIRE A LED LIGHTED AFTERMARKET SPEEDOMETER I MIGHT GET FROM DIME CITY CYCLES( 2.5" WHITE  FACED 1:4 RATIO)

yeah a different speedometer with a ratio of 2240:60.

for reference:
CB750 Speedo  2240:60  Tach 4:1

Depends, do they specify that you won't need to use resistors on installation? Description usually says whether or not, I'm pretty sure that those are plug and play tho...

ya, they sent me a email stating just pklug and go,no resistor needed
