I have a 72 350f that has been destroying batteries, i chalked it up to being a cheap wmart battery and bought a maintenance free. even after a long ride, i'm having trouble getting the starter to turn over at all. solenoid (switch) or starter died? battery not being re-charged due to alternator prob? I haven't put the new battery on the automatic charger to see if the status of new maint. free battery. but the other batteries couldn't be charged again after initial charge and riding the bike. Any diagnostic advice greatly appreciated, lately i feel like the battery just helps me to complete the circuit and i'll just kick start it every time.
