po had 140 main jets to start then i went to 130' now 120'still sooting up,crazy thing is if i pull the carbs and clean then put back on she runs great then slowly after putting some miles on her she starts to run worse But even when running great the plugs start to soot up so i think i have more than 1 problem, but man when she is running good she idles, shifts, and has full power,i do have coils from either a 650 or 1000cb   (7 mill  coil wires by accell)    but they have like 4.8 ohms, runnings points(they are not new either are the condesors)valves adj,new aftermarket tank, nice and clean inside and i am running a gas line from the tank to carbs 1&2 and a seperate line to 3&4 with in line filters,4 into 2 exhaust(no baffles) pods for air filters

carbs coming off again, carb 2 overflowing even with new floats and they were set right on 26mm,one thing thow the float needles from the rebuild kit are slightly longer than oem ones so i figure that would affect my float height setting the spring loaded vlier is about .030 longer

yea - make sure all the floats / needles / etc are physically all the identical.
specs of the various rebuild kits vary A LOT.
spring for a new set of honda OEM, it'll save you some grief down the road.

also - are you sure the fouling is from the mains? could be the slide needles are too high. or those tiny air passages to the emulsion tubes might be gunked. or maybe the air screws are off....

Everything is.clean,i am going to lower needles to lean out bike more, and have figure new float height due to diffetences in float needle length
