1976 cb360 carb swap
« on: September 03, 2013, 05:10:19 PM »
I am picking up a project bike i bought 3 years ago that has been sitting. I have decided to change the carb v/s rebuilding. The vacuum piston diaphram is dry rotted.

My question is, is it possible to change out the carb for a 350 model of thw same year. I have heard the parts are interchangeable. If so, are there any pointers or mechanicle adjustments that i will have to make to install the 350 model carb?

Once i get the bike to my yard i will be posting here. I really like tgis forum and read it a lot.

Any advice will help as wwll and expeirience pointers.

Yes you can swap the carbs but the interface has to work.
For instance: the way the carb mounts. studs or clamp and boot.etc.,.

I heard they wont swap.   I bought a set of 360 carbs from someone who said he got them for his 350 but they wouldnt fit.   Didnt ask why.
