Almost SMIDSY this morning crossing wet train tracks
« on: September 04, 2013, 07:57:52 AM »
This was a nice start to my day. I think he saw me and stopped, but it was when I saw HIM, that I realized... "well I can't brake now because I'll hit the wet tracks with my brakes on. PREPARE TO BRAKE HARD AFTER TRACKS".

That could have been interesting. Good thing he was looking out, I usually try to avoid those lanes when I see that break in traffic

Those angled tracks are dangerous for motorcycles.
Try to swerve just a little and cross them at less of an angle in the future.

And  SMIDSY...is ???

SMIDSY = Sorry Mate, I Didn't See You

The tracks are hard to cross at a nice angle. Thankfully with the ruts, I can cross them in the middle and sail over the steel rails.

These are the moments you want those big brakes.  Glad he caught himself.
