Topic: Boston to Cali cross country trip in about 22 days :)

Gonna do a Boston to San Francisco ride starting late September...would love to meet or ride along with fellow members along the way.

My bike is finally done and I am taking about 3 weeks to see some places I have missed across the country, here's my blog detailing it all out.

Will do! I land pretty late on the 26th and will head straight to VT to take care of some stuff but will b back in Boston that weekend before heading out.

Be prepared for snow and cold in the higher elevations of Yellowstone and Yosemite.  I was out there a few years ago and we had snow in late September.  Could be nice could be a foot of snow.  At that time of year it's a crap shoot.

Should be a great trip! I did the same thing in 2001 also at the end of September. I rode from Boston to San Francisco via South Dakota/Wyoming/Idaho/Nevada/Northern California - took 12 days (~4000 miles). Then rode down to San Diego and beyond (round Mexico for a month). Did this on a CB750K4.

You are going to have a great adventure. Weather for me was very good at the same time of year - good luck to you! I have a garage and a spare room in Boston if you need a place yo crash - just round the corner from Alex/Crush.

Yeah Guys, I will be in Boston on Sept 26th very late that night. I'm still in San Jose California now till then. I live here now but I am originally from Boston.
