74 CB750K Elec starter delete? trade for original parts?
« on: September 09, 2013, 07:13:06 PM »
I got into the side covers on my 74' CB750K today to re-install the electric starter. To my dismay it appears that is not gonna be happening quite as easily as i thought

It would appear the previous owner has machined the starter gear off the hub / starter clutch drive boss, and also machined down the alternator rotor probably to save weight and reduce flywheel weight.

I suspect someone may want this as i do not, Im hoping that same person might have a good original rotor, starter clutch, and gear they may be willing to trade?
