HELP identify these pistons
« on: September 22, 2013, 08:37:28 PM »
I was digging out more of my old stuff and I found these pistons that are just a hair over 70mm. They have a larger dome than my 1055 mtc pistons and deeper valve reliefs. The inside has a 270 SS but no othe markings. Any ideas?????  I need to find one more of these to run them, one had a valve drop and beat up the piston and my RC head..I also found another cam but will get the numbers off it later to see what it is. I know it's not the same as my RC cam tho. I have soo many parts I need to sort through, alot of stock stuff I need to get rid of and chassis parts to get rid of eventually. Once I get sorting I will list um here first before ebay. Dug out the other two drag bike chassis and a 75f parts chassis and a 78 super sport parts chassis tonight too. Anyway, pistons?????

Venolia I thought, but checked, they look do look like the Arias RC  ones, were marked 270SS from Arias,RC would just grind the Arias out,but not where you couldn't read it. early RC were marked RC I think.Have both in 70 mm.Bill

It looks Arias to me too. Those gas ports look to large and the exhaust valve was kissing the piston. Looks like the intake was justing hitting the wall of the relief.
