That is really cool. Agree, the patina should be left as is.

If it were not in good mechanical condition it would be a nightmare to work on or to get parts. Very cool deco like styling. Don't think I would want it though.

Is the price realistic?

I'm pretty sure it's a realistic starting point, at least if we were negotiating in person.  It looks very complete, and completely original.  When's the last time you saw something similar for sale in the states?

The early Dreams like this can go for 20k in showroom or fully restored condition. 10k is more than I would consider for a bike with this much patina...

Good God I want that.

Seems like we say that much too often, Greggo!

As far as value, worth as much as much as what someone will pay. $10K easy...

If I had it to spare, I'd be down there tomorrow.  This is arguably cooler than most Hondas I say I want ;D

Def has the cool factor but in reality, would not be as much fun to ride as your 500. Or that turbo bike you'll have running soon, right?!

Way too high for the condition it's in.  $6,000.00 max.

We'll see Stev-o, I'm waiting for my dad's shop partner to finish my magneto...can't rush someone who's doing expensive work for free ;)

And fun is relative!  Sometimes I have more fun putting around on the little 150 Dream than I do riding fast on the 500.

Ha!   Cond has nothing to do with the value of this one.  It's complete and rare, it could go for $15K.
Try finding another to compare value....

It's complete rare and rough.  True there are very few of those in the US.  I have it in my watch list, let's see if anyone bids.

That's a sixty year old bike, and it looks MUCH nicer than many of the thirty year old CB's that show up on here...just sayin'.

No bidders yet.  I wonder if there are any lurkers waiting to snatch it.

I would only buy attractive useful bikes for my own enjoyment. That is neither IMHO. It may be an investment, though, if there are a lot of people who feel like me, it isn't.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Very pretty!  Nice & rare in any country.

Looks like a cross between a Villiers and a BMW single.

Original and rough condition (level of rust) is going to have a small niche market in my opinion. Were it 1/10 the level of rust it might have a bid. Going to need a rich collector to want this one I think.

I don't see enough rust for nitpicking a 60-year old bike David!  Even the rims look pretty solid.

There is no rust. Greggo. That is "patina"!

I agree with Stev-o on the Patina issue.  But I don't think it will sell at 10k.
