Looking for custom triple tree clamps, would like some info

I'm putting my bike back under the knife, and I'm looking to get some custom made triple trees. My bike has an 05 gsxr1000 front end, but the offset is different from stock. Essentially I'm looking to get some trees made with stock dimensions that fit my works, and I'm wondering if there's anyone on here who has experience with making custom trees, or knows of someone reliable.

Also, does anyone have the length of stock 750k forks on hand? I know the gsxr ones are shorter but I don't have a pair of stock ones to measure. 

Here's a picture of the bike in question, only difference now is progressive struts on the back.

You might want to PM Frank aka 754. I'm not sure if it is in his wheelhouse but it's worth a try.

You should post your location on your profile.
  I have made trees a few time.. But you really should have a clear idea or sketch of what you want, and how thick those are, or you want them to be.. That sort of think,, and what you want for fork stop, etc.

Sorry, I'm from NJ, USA. Your reply is actually what I'm looking for. I'd like to know the info I need to get for who ever would do this. I'll try to source a stock 750 triple from someone and take measurements. Once I get them, would you mind looking them over to see if there's any other info I need?

I know the measurements of stock trees,there are two offset choices. What did you do for forkstops ?

 The length can be corrected in two ways..perhaps.
 First is build caps for the forks that are longer..a few tricks involved,.can work well. 
 Second is build a top tree that arches downward, ie top nut are is higher than where the forks clamp.  However due to diameter changes in the forklegs for weight reduction,you may not beable to vary the distance between triple trees, as much as you need.

 Just some of the things to consider..

Stock 750 forks are 29 7/8" long, measured from the axle center-line to the top of the tube. The K7 upper triple has an off-set of 50mm, and a drop, or downward arch of .9". To replicate the ride height with the stock forks would require machining the upper from a billet of 2" thickness. If your new forks are 1" shorter, it would require a hunk of aluminum 3" thick and a lot of metal carving.

for fork stops I just drilled and tapped holes in bottom of triple, and used allen bolts with spacers. Thanks for the info so far. Would it make sense to build both, the top and bottom trees that arch down to keep the points where the forks sit in the trees the same as stock, while still adding height without extending the forks themselves?

Depending on if your forks are cut away, you may only have to do one, but two would be stiffer.
Bad part..more material more machining..more cost.

The ones in the pic look expen$ive

I looked into doing custom tees for my front end swap, the material wasn't going to be grossly expensive, but the machining would be if you can't do it yourself. Just so we're all straight though, you want GSXR-1000 Trees that emulate the CB750 stock offset and height, so the geometry emulates stock?

Just wondering why you're headed this direction, lock to lock a little tight? Weird turn in? or are you just looking for that cb750 feel with a nicer ride?

I know mine is tight lock to lock, i actually moved the tank back about 2 inches to make it all work. Pretty happy with the result, turn in is fine, cruises straight with hands off the bars, haven't pushed deep into too many corners yet though.

Good luck with the setup! Love your bike, paint job, spokes, wrap, everything!!! Definitely one of my inspirations, kind of ended in a different direction though.

I'm not sure what bike the trees are for that I posted, just googled an image of triple trees.

Yes, I was hoping to emulate the stock 750 set up. If it ends up being really expensive I may pass on the idea.

Main reason why I'm trying to work on this front end is because the 19 inch wheel on there right now is too big, and has bottomed out the fender on the bottom triple. I'd like to run a smaller wheel but since these forks are already smaller than stock I'm afraid of lowering it even more with a smaller wheel. I thought by maybe adding height and fixing the offset a bit more towards stock would allow me to run a smaller front wheel, ideally 17".

I struggled with the same thing when I started my mock up for my build.  I found a guy on the forum (TTR400) a while back who machines custom triple trees and other odd ends.  He machined a set for 06 GSXR 1000 forks with a 750 offset and I am pretty happy with the results.  Here is a link to his site. http://www.ttr400.com/photo3_7.html
It did cost me a little.  I think around $400.  I don’t know if he is still doing work, but you could ask him.

I went with a 18” tire and it seems to work well.

Wouldn't it just be easier to found a 17" rim a lace it to your hub
Too what's your pre-load set at your forks or rebound and compression setting do you know what weight oil is in your forks I only ask because ppl sometimes forget about the little things like this

i did the same as bigsam302, ttr400 made me some triples with these specs:
-cb750 stem length and diameter(uses stock bearings and all related threaded hardware)
-cb750 offset and steering stops(no clearance issues at all with the gas tank)
-gsxr fork tube diameter clamps
-gsxr axle width spacing

the triples are amazingly done, the black anodizing hasn't faded at all in the past 1.5 years.  i did have to wait many months(6-8) but it was worth it.  better looking and more affordable than anything in the US, made by a honda specialist...something had to be less-than-perfect and it was the lead time. 

basically this made installing a gsxr front end onto my cb a bolt on affair with zero clearance issues and the only thing i had to fab was an axle spacer to align the harley hub in the fork ends.

754: the lower triple can't be flipped due to the way the stem mounts in it.

Yes if you flip it you have to remachine the counterbore and make a spacer to fill the old one..plus make fork stops.
 Sounds like Ttr is reasonable..
