As a guess, that's a 350 Four engine... could be a 500/550 though. What engine are you interested in?
What do you want to do? Just "how to access near gearbox" does not tell us much.
There are some Honda service manuals downloadable at www.honda4fun.com. These have very good instructions on servicing the engine with diagrams, the image quality is poor but tolerable. Someone here was trying to make high-resolution scans of Honda manuals but I haven't seen them. The Honda manuals are for mechanics and assume you know quite a bit already, Haynes and Clymer manuals are more for the home mechanic but are sometimes too simplified and leave things out.

Bidi:
Thanks for answering,
First i apologize, it is a CB500f 1975

The situation  is that I need to know If I can fix a problem on the starter gear and its accesories ( the one that is turned by starter motor) not opening the whole motor.
I am not a mechanic so thus job is done by one that I hire.
Big difference in cost if need to open the whole motor or just access thru the clutch cover or the oil pan.

that is why I need to know what my chances are.

Thank you again,

Juan
