Thanks, Don.  She's got some spunk too.  At dusk I took a ride up and down the driveway.  So tickled we are due for a warming trend.   8)

Are you going to the Del Mar flat track races Saturday. A group of us are going including Jay LaRossa and Ian Halcott. I think we might get a chance to meet Roland Sands (one of the sponsors) and Richard Pollock of Mule Motorcycles.

Then back to Long Beach for the MotoLady party.

Don, I didn't even realize flat track was happening at Del Mar.  I have 3 mates coming in from Capetown on Thursday and then leaving S.D. on Sunday.  Maybe we can find time.  It will be tight but maybe they will want to go.

Ian will be making me a seat.  So if I don't make it, please say hello for me.  PM me your cell phone.

It was a nice sunny day here in San Diego to take a couple of outdoor shots.  Wish I had a better camera than just my cell.  Yes, right foot brake lever is down - working on the return spring; and the left shift lever needs to be angled upwards a bit.  Still working out some kinks.

Looks great,  nice job
We went to DelMar in 96 first year of racing there in decades. Was good, Jim Davis, one of the last surviving boardtrack racers, got up and spoke to the crowd.. RIP Jim

Mike, I plan to rip up and down my mountain and take full advantage of that amazing engine as soon as all the kinks get worked out.  May need a little jetting once I can dyno it.  Not all that happy with gear shifting but will get that sorted.  World of difference compared to a stocker.  Wow.

Thanks again.

I have a feeling some of that is related to the rearsets. Make sure the clutch is adjusted properly at the basket....you need maximum disengagement.

You must have ESP (experience with shifting problems).  I worked on that earlier.

I think I mentioned this earlier but I have the same.shifting problems on my 550F after putting it together.  One of these days I need to pull it apart.

Great pictures Kevin although it looks like you could attach your rear brake pedal linkage.  ;)

Danielle looks brilliant in the sunlight. A real stunner.

Don, since Tarrozi doesn't make rearsets for my year 550, I took off the brake rod to modify to accommodate a 500 rear brake return spring.  Rob North had to modify the frame to accept the Tarrozis.  Will be back on by tonight.

Riceman - those wires are for the m-switch push button controls on the clipons.  I am switching around which wires control which functions to a  3-button control on right side for start, R turn and horn.  A 2-button switch on left side for L  turn and hi beam.  The pics were taken before I reconfigured the m-switches wiring.

Adjusted clutch and played with rearset lever and shift mechanism today.  Shifting much better during long, hard pull up my driveway in 2nd and 3rd.  Bugs are getting worked out!  Lugs a bit off the line.  Jetting - but I want to wait til Cone muffler is on the outlet pipe and until after more break-in.  It pulls like a mule but haven't gone past about 6000 rpm yet.
