Part # question KO ?
« on: October 13, 2013, 07:00:22 PM »
I got some parts in bags. With a 300 part # ..3 needles, clips, slide clips and needle jets,, all look changed out. And the 3 bags all say 16012-300-004 .that crosses with a different 1st number to one of the parts in the bag, but my green 71 parts book does not list that low a front number.  Anyone know what that part number is?

My 750 parts book shows that: 16012-300-004 is a K0 needle jet set and used on the USA, England, Netherlands, Australian and Japanese models. (French and German models use K0 needle jet set: 16012-300-014)

Have you checked here?
http://www.motogrid.com/pages/OemParts?aribrand=HOM
Use Quick Part Search, fill in the partnumber and when it shows the result click under 'Where used' Select Model.

Hi gang.I just looked in my parts book #2 from Oct. 1970 that does not show that part # at all . Strange.

I have the same 10/70 book and you’re right, the number is not listed. I’ve discovered not all parts books show all the numbers which makes look up frustrating at times. The newer microfiche and online parts sources sometimes have typo and/or transposed part number errors, so I don’t explicitly trust them. Anyhow, I was able to find the number: 16012-300-004 that I posted in reply #2 from these two parts books:

City Boy, you're welcome.

My white cover 750 parts book K0 to K2 was published by Honda of UK and does not have a date that I can find. ???

My green cover 750 parts book K0 to K4 was published by Honda of Japan and does not have a date that I can find. ???

This is what my 750 parts book K0-K1 with the 10/70 date looks like:
