CB 500 Four (1972?) Full Restoration
http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=130104.msg1455526#msg1455526

I started this in the incorrect forum, it should have been in the Project Forum not the SOHC general forum.

So I'm correcting that mistake.

After looking at parts I think as MoMo said I've underestimated the cost of the project - particularly the exhaust system (original 4 pipes seem almost unavailable).

I'm thinking of starting the resto with the frame, then forks followed by the wheels and then finally Motor and electrics.

Any suggestion will be welcome.

I should have bought my mate Ray's CB550, except he was still riding it at 84 years old, he's since passed and his son got hold of it along with Ray's 1974 CB750.

Bike arrives in 3 days - can't wait.
