I believe the sidecar is Tuma - name of the maker - but that Jawa is 500 OHC.

Bike Exif has a pretty 550 with side car...give it a look... Forget the name of the shop but it began with an A.

Mocking up.  The Air shock position will be adjustable to set the height of the swingarm above the frame.

Next I have to shape the swingarm and make some plates to box it, welding it all together is the very last step.

I love RPN and HP calculators.   I have HP41C from my college days I still use.

This one is from my dad, he gave it to me because he was not using it anymore.  I keep this one in my shop.

My dad was - retired now - structural engineer mainly dealing with steam turbine blades and such.

If I decide not to use the brake caliper I will shorten the axle but for the first test this will do.

Not sure what to use to cover the center of the wheel.

First test ride ended in a ditch. After adjusting toe in and lean out I was able to ride around the block. Left turns still scare the #$%* out of me.  Now I need to build a cargo box to put some ballast in.  Overall I am happy with it.

G'day Prokop,

I hope you won't mind me sticking my bib in now you've reached your setup stage.
K model Hondas have a relatively short wheelbase used as a sidecar platform.
Your chair looks fairly wide so I'm assuming your track is wide relative to your wheelbase.

If your interested in a discussion on setup and maybe a couple of initial riding tips let me know.
If not I'm happy to keep my nose out.  ;)

Cheers,
Brian

Thank you, Brian.  I did not do any measuring yet, just set it up by eye and feel.  I will definitely reach out to you when I know what I am looking at.

Sorry, I cant help with setup but I think Bear raced "hacks" for awhile, so he should be able to.

No worries. One small thing though, just to help dodge that ditch.

Thanks!  The ditch actually happened on a straight piece of road - and on the other side than I was riding.  I guess toe out will do this to you :)
